Disney:Jedi Academy

Disneyland Park in California has successfully imported some of the scenes of the Star Wars universe (dimensions i,j,k), which may be functional as a bridge to some of technology and ideas for the New Republic (or Novus Ordo Seclorum). This raises some interesting opportunities for introduction and utilizing some of the technology for AI that is premature outside a controlled environment or for-profit. Also a Jedi Academy could be integrated as part of a LARP (live-action role-playing). At level 20, interested and qualifying padawans or apprentices could get demonstrations viewable by others in the park for motivation in playing the LARP and advancing your knowledge of the meta and game universe.

Curriculum

  • Attention: The world as the Jedi sees it.
  • Knowledge: Interfacing with that world, learning, and with respect.
  • Action: How to use your life force to add value to all of your interactions.
  • Safety Net: Learning an elite skill so as always to be valuable in your society.
  • Warning Signs: Catching fraudulent behavior and subtle sabotage.
The in-game Academy wouldn't get people to become full Jedi, but will introduce them to real wisdom from the Jedi and about the Force. This will allow some of that wisdom to percolate into the Earth world. Appropriate fences regarding what is real and what is not yet real will be given (Disney vs. Star Wars vs. real life), so that they don't become misfits or obsessives.

Consider a 7-day curriculum for the kids; where parents are given homework assignments by the Jedi Master each day when they pick up the kids to deploy and engage their outer world -- moving it closer to the Future.
