There may be a scenario when the soul is so damaged that it fragments and the relationship to the Force is rendered inoperative.

In these scenarios the yang or yin that was united with it`s complementary other has to come back together with several helpers of the opposite side, reforming the union to mend it. Two or four are necessary.

Physical intimacy is the easiest route if there isn't trauma, but ultimately the soul can remend without a crack.
