Punk is the only real spirit of the times. Every other subculture has fucked it up. Ravers, Queers, Webbers.

• Punk means not accepting consumer culture.
• Punk means that the culture is a sinking ship and your not going to go down with it.
• Punk means that there's more to the world than Planet America.
• Punk means that a society that doesn't think about the future of children, isn't making a future at all.
• Punk means that what I say or what YOU say isn't the only voice.

What I declare:

• It means not being afraid of the State because the state's too fucking stupid and incompetent to actually do anything but intimidate.
• It means taking power because those in positions of responsibility don't.
• It means not accepting medical solutions that "fix" the individual at the expense of the whole because nothing has changed.
• It means organizing because the dominant paradigm keeps breaking us down and apart.
• It means that the only effective way to change is a cultural revolution.

Exhibits:

• 100% of political capital was spent on billionaires and cocksuckers and dope.
• Nothing materially has gotten better with technology or industry.
• The new medium (the Internet) has become just like the old medium (glam, commerce, and poseurs)
• Peak Oil (~2012AD), Climate change (~2000), and Financial Collapse (~2008).

If nothing changes, only the cockroaches and the serpents survive.
