Mastery of Form

There are two elements to mastery:

  • holding your power (stance),
  • directing your power (falon-gong(?))
The energy that you are holding and directing is called chi. When chi is under your control it is called power. When power is disciplined, it becomes a martial-art. And when the martial art tests your soul, you become an enlightened warrior.
So, power is one of the masteries on the path to enlightenment. Carlos Casteneda talks about it as the third enemy.

The first one is fear, the second one is clarity, the third one is power. One must take care that trying overcome fear doesn't turn into false clarity or ego. And one must take care that overcoming clarity doesn't turn into false power or tyranny. One doesn't overcome power, one has to master it. How? By not becoming a tyrant. For that, you'll have to be in and of the world, not apart from it. The arena is life itself.

But before you even think of getting close to that one, you've got karma to resolve.
