Build Errors FAQ

This FAQ will cover transient build errors. If you have a build error that isn't discussed here or doesn't have an issue, feel free to submit one or ping us in #servo.
- Error includes:
- Failed to run custom build command for mozjs_sys
- too many levels of symbolic links
- What does it mean?
- There was a Spidermonkey upgrade and previous build directories are incompatible
- How do I fix it?
- Remove the directory
$rm -rf target/{debug,release}/build/mozjs*
- Are you using Xcode 8?
- Servo doesn't currently work on Xcode 8 (@nox is investigating)
- Switch to Xcode 7
xcode-select -s /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/ - Alternatively, figure out how to make it build and submit an issue/PR
