(Last 10 Minutes): Roundtable
Short agenda today.
The last Open meeting went well and had the largest audience. We are looking for anybody who would like to demo something. a. Seth may be able to talk about the Permissions investigation - what was a performance issue, but performance turned out to be caused by permissions by term… investigating over the next two weeks and should know whether or not this can be a topic.
- https://github.com/Islandora/documentation/issues/1746 “Using Advanced Queue instead of ActiveMQ/Karaf/Alpaca” - this stems from the demo of the advanced queue for purposes of indexing the triple store indexer from last week.
-
https://github.com/Islandora/documentation/pull/1743 “Automatically show 'last update' date” for the documentation process by using the plugin
mkdocs-git-revision-date-localized-plugin
. It is not a paid-feature and pertains to a material admin theme feature which should show the update timestamp. This is run bymkdocs build —clean
. We decided to try building the docs right now on Danny’s machine and installed the dependent libraries - which worked to rebuild the documentation including the ‘last update’ timestamp at the bottom of each page.
Eli had a question about the “No gemini” pull request, though there was a prerequisite PR that needs to be cleared first. When it is merged in, Danny will let us know.
We all went around and spoke briefly about what has been keeping each of us busy.
Finally, Willow asked if there was any plan to have any Islandora presence at the upcoming April DrupalCon. There were no plans -- it is too late to change anything.
