-
Item 1.1: PR needs testing.
-
Item 1.2: Investing a lot of time in the FITS integration. Decision for this release: keeping all the compoents, but not indexing the fields. Will allow us to still generate FITS, and we can fix the field indexing later. Consensus was that, when we fix, we should not index fields by default but let site admins index the fields they want for a particular use.
-
Item 1.3 Delays in the 1.1.0 release are worth it, these are all great improvements. Wwe need to provide some update instructions as part of the release. Danny asked for what we want in those instructions. Rosie suggested defining what the expected results of the update will be so admins can confirm that the update hooks, etc. worked. Some discussion on how to back up your database, detecting differences before and after the update, etc. Danny will put some thought into this. Gavin suggested taking this to the ISLE team to help has it out.
-
Item 2: Benefit of this would be to speed up dev builds. Some useful discussion but Danny will open an issue for this so we can track it better.
-
Agenda 3:
- 1484: Evolved into a useful disucussion of what we ship as default fields. By end of meeting, we landed (?) on providing the fields we currently do in Islandora Defaults, but to disable many of them by default to make the node add/edit form smaller. Site admins can easily enable additional fields they want.
- 1483: DGT (Didn't get to).
- 1482: DGT
- 1481: DGT
- 1480: DGT
