You are the technological butterfly upon which hackseq soars. You are in charge or organizing, initializing and maintaining all the technical aspects of hackseq such as dedicated wi-fi, computing infrastructure, electrical power, and day-of technical support.

GSC ORCA

• The GSC provided us with 2 servers running ORCA in 2018

WiFi

• Contact UBC IT with information on the event and dates. They will respond with a quote and a request for SSID and password. Specifics on how much we've paid for WiFi can be found in the private hackseq Github issues.

• You've got your organizing committee, this is the ramp-up time leading to Team Lead Recruitment Phase

Team Lead Recruitment Phase

• The initial public-facing phase of hackseq. Team lead recruitment and selection.

Participant Recruitment Phase

• Projects are selected/online, open participant recruitment application.

Lead-up to vent

• The participant recruitment is closed. Organize teams and build up stoke.

During the Hackathon

• From the AM of the event till the PM of close
