MPV issues
See the complete MPV documentation
MPV team decided to use your GPU for better performance, normally media player don't use your graphic card that much, but MPV newest version does and so you need to update your graphic card driver. At first, try to run these files that we added to NHLGames, run these as an administrator (right click and select this option):
- mpv\updater.bat
- mpv\installer\configure-opengl-hq.bat
If you are still having issues, try to use an older mpv version or you can also switch from MPV to VLC or MPC-HC if it still does not work.
NHLGames comes with the common version of MPV, the 64 bits version. If you get the error 216, it means that your computer is a 32 bits system and you will have to download MPV 32 bits. Download it and extract the mpv folder somewhere that you will remember because you will have to set the same path to the .exe file every time you update NHLGames. Set the MPV path in Settings.
MPV 32 bits version: mpv-i686-20180421-git-65f0825.zip
You can find this same picture and the documentation (pdf) in NHLGames folder:

If your monitor has a really high resolution and you use mpv as your default media player, you might get big blacck edges around the video when watching your games in fullscreen. Go to Settings and turn on Player args and type
--panscan=1.0
You can discuss about it in Discussion QA or on our subreddit /r/nhl_games
