Welcome to the PyCut wiki! This wiki is the central information hub for PyCut, where you can learn more about what it attempts to accomplish, how to build and run the game, and more.
For Humanitarian Free and Open Source Software Development (IGME-582) at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Justin W. Flory, Wilfried Hounyo, and Stephen Garabedian created a logic-based activity, called PyCut, for the One Laptop per Child XO laptops. The project has seen a minor revision at the hands of Trevor Creed, Alex Fuerst and Patrick Gormley
PyCut encourages logical thinking by presenting its users with a puzzle about meeting the criteria of a needy customer at a pizza shop. Through interacting with the game, our hope is that the audience will develop and refine their logical thinking skills in an interesting and fun environment.
