Install actions on Windows and Linux

Install steps

Windows

• Create WWIV dir
• Uncompress archive
• run wwivconfig

Linux

• Create WWIV dir
• Uncompress Archive
• check prereqs (architecture, installed software)
• Create wwiv User/Group, Lock it, and select user to sudo to it
• chown WWIV dir
• wwivconfig
• create systemd entry (or svcadm on solaris)
