There are some ways to install this extension, the simplest is over the extensions tab in VS Code. Press Shift+⌘+X on mac or Ctrl+Shift+X on windows, to open the extension tab and search for impex. Look for ImpEx Support and click install.
You can also install the package directly. Download the vsix file of your desired version from releases and open the Command Palette, search for the Extensions: Install from VSIX... command and select the vsix file from your harddrive.
