Add properties for short hostname, process name and pid logging

This pull request does three things:

• adds a property for logging a simple hostname instead of the FQDN (off by default)
• adds a property to set the process name that will be automatically logged
• adds a property to log the PID file of the process (on by default when the process name is set)
  As a result the logging output looks more standard, e.g.
  Jan 25 15:07:10 myhostname process-name[12345]: message instead of
  Jan 25 15:07:10 myhostname.domain.tld message
