Connecting Excel to a FusionLink server
A user may have many instances of FusionLink running on their machine at the same time. In order to choose which one to connect to, a dropdown button in the Excel Ribbon is available. To choose the connection, open the dropdown and select the connection corresponding to the instance of FusionLink. The instance number can be found in the Caption Bar in the FusionInvest / FusionCapital UI. Note: You can see you current connection by calling the Get-Connection function.
When new FusionInvest clients are opened and closed, the list of available connections will update automatically.
If you cannot see connection you need available, click the Refresh button to force excel to rediscover all available FusionLink instances.
