BitBucket clone using GitHub for Mac

  1. Login to BitBucket
  2. Navigate to repository
  3. Find the “Clone” button and choose HTTPS; copy the git clone https://username@bitbucket.org/team-name/repository-name.git string
  4. Open terminal and paste string and hit return (enter on-screen instructions)
  5. Click the + sign in GitHub for Mac and select “Add Local Repository”
  6. Choose cloned repo from step above
