This is the repository for the official NIT Durgapur's GLUG website. It is presently based on Jekyll static site generator. So, make sure jekyll is installed when you are running locally.

Run locally

To run an instance of this site locally or as a template for your own website, follow the steps given here.

1. Install ruby first if you don't have. Then install gem. For further info look into https://jekyllrb.com/docs/installation/
2. In the above steps its mentioned how to get and install jekyll using gem install jekyll
3. Then clone this repository using git clone https://github.com/lugnitdgp/lugnitdgp.github.io
4. Get into the root of the repostory on your local machine and run: bundle exec jekyll serve
5. Open your browser and put the link: http://localhost:4000
