Hello! I'm a research software engineer at the Center for Computational Astrophysics (Flatiron Institute, Simons Foundation). I develop and optimize software for research projects in astronomy, with a focus on machine learning frameworks and parallelization. I work on core astronomy packages like Astropy as well as custom tools for simulations, data modeling and analysis. I was previously a postdoctoral researcher in astronomy studying the formation of planetary systems.
