This directory contains basic files for building dlvhex and plugins.

To use this in your dlvhex branch or plugin, invoke

$ cd path/to/your/git/repository $ git submodule add https://github.com/hexhex/build.git dlvhex-common

Commit using

$ git commit -m “Use build.git submodule.”

You can update other repositories that do not contain the submodules as follows:

$ git submodule init $ git submodule update

or clone fresh copies and init the submodule automatically:

$ git clone –recursive https://github.com/hexhex/yourthing.git

Then setup symbolic links to the externals in dlvhex-common

$ ln -s dlvhex-common/bootstrap.sh . $ ln -s dlvhex-common/doxygen.am . $ ln -s dlvhex-common/doxygen.cfg . $ ln -s ../dlvhex-common/m4/boost.m4 ./m4 $ ln -s ../dlvhex-common/m4/dlvhex.m4 ./m4 $ ln -s ../dlvhex-common/m4/doxygen.m4 ./m4 $ ln -s ../dlvhex-common/testsuite/answerset_compare.py ./testsuite $ ln -s ../dlvhex-common/testsuite/run-dlvhex-tests.sh ./testsuite

and add them to your git repository:

$ git add bootstrap.sh doxygen.{am,cfg} m4/{boost,dlvhex,doxygen}.m4 testsuite/{answerset_compare.py,run-dlvhex-tests.sh} $ git commit -m “Setup symbolic links to dlvhex-common.” $ git push –all
