Inside of your Astro + Starlight project, you'll see the following folders and files:

Starlight looks for .md
or .mdx
files in the src/content/docs/
directory. Each file is exposed as a route based on its file name.
Images can be added to src/assets/
and embedded in Markdown with a relative link.
Static assets, like favicons, can be placed in the public/
directory.
Custom astro components can be found in the /src/components/
folder. These can be used and imported through the astro.config.js
.
Sidebar configurations can be found in the /src/sidebars/
folder. It contains a default sidebar that will be used the astro.config.js
as its sidebar, as well as conditionally set sidebars used in the /src/overrides/Sidebar.astro
.
All commands are run from the root of the project, from a terminal:
