MessagePack

SuperCollider implementation of the MessagePack binary serialization format.

Installation

Quarks.install("https://github.com/davidgranstrom/MessagePack");

Usage

Encode

var object = (compact: true, schema: 0);
var data = MessagePack.encode(object);
MessagePack.print(data); // [ 82, a7, 63, 6f, 6d, 70, 61, 63, 74, c3, a6, 73, 63, 68, 65, 6d, 61, 00 ]

Decode

var data = [ 130, 167, 99, 111, 109, 112, 97, 99, 116, 195, 166, 115, 99, 104, 101, 109, 97, 0 ];
var object = MessagePack.decode(data);
object.postln; // ( 'compact': true, 'schema': 0 )
