Voxelab Aquila H32 Chip Firmware (TESTING)
### This is for H32 chips only. Refer to newer releases!
Please disregard this release if you're looking for something stable. There is a newer updated version.
Alex's firmware to work for Aquila C2 and others with the H32 chip
Look for file with C2 for those types of displays only.
Custom Bootscreen with Voxelab logo working for C2 displays.
For non-C2 Aquila models with H32 chip, firmware file does not have C2 in filename.
**This is compiled using Eclipse **
Tweaks and other settings enabled:
- G12 - Clean the Nozzle
- G26 - Mesh Validation Pattern
- G2/G3 - Arc or Circle Move (Arc Welder plug in)
I increased the homing and leveling speed, and made more of the bed available for probing, as well as 49 points to probe, actually it is 43 due to the X limitation with the probe, but it automatically guesses what the last row of 7 should be with great accuracy. This then could be adjusted manually with the manual mesh option if you so choose.
I found 7x7 to be the best and probes most of the bed as opposed to 10x10 or 15x15 or any other I've tested. with 10x10 it only probes around 50 of the points. I get great first layers so anymore probing isn't necessary.
Also, the mesh_inset is 0 instead of 20 so more of the bed can be proved.
- --BEFORE YOU UPLOAD NEW FIRMWARE--
DON'T FORGET TO COPY YOUR SETTINGS Or you will have to redo them!!! - Remember your old settings like Steps/mm, acceleration values, and PID values, ect...
- View them in the LCD and write them down or copy them from a terminal window via USB like Pronterface or Octoprint with command M503.
- *** You will have to recalibrate PID values, E-steps, and Steps/mm for XYZ found here
Voxelab Aquila G32/N32 or Creality-427 Board + Extender
**Alex's Firmware - 1.3.5 | Marlin 2.0.1 << JyersUI ** (w/ speed increase + added options)
Voxelab G32 or N32 boards
Creality 4.2.7 board
Will work with Aquila {Original, X2, C2, S2}
For C2, look for file ending in C2
I recommend UBL7x7.
Ignore the 'zTest' files and the other ones for larger beds.
If you are using a Creality 4.2.7 Board
ADD FIRMWARE TO ROOT FOLDER ON SD CARD
Do NOT put in another folder.
OTHERWISE if you have a stock board with G32 or N32 chips, disregard and place firmware in a folder called "firmware" as usual
*Faster Homing and Moving speeds
*Increased Buffer size (for those with Octoprint issues)
Increase file sort max to 80 instead of 40. Files are in order A-Z up to 80 files now.
*Linear Advance enabled for file ending in 'LA'.
Will work with Aquila C2 Ender3/CR-10 128x64 Display
Firmware for Ender Extender 400mm bed added. please make a request for any other bed sizes. There is one for 600 in the Z (400x400x600), as well as 600x600x680.
I have compiled a faster UBL firmware for the Aquila with G32, N32, or with a Creality 4.2.7 board.
I have also enabled
- G12 - Clean the Nozzle
- G26 - Mesh Validation Pattern
- G2/G3 - Arc or Circle Move (Arc Welder plug in) gcode updated to newer version
- BAUD_RATE_GCODE // Enable G-code M575 to set the baud rate
- RX_BUFFER_MONITOR //Dump an error to the serial port if the serial receive buffer overflows.
