About Me

I am a Software Engineer with a background in the financial industry. My financial credentials include Series 7 and Certified Treasury Professional Licenses and a broad range of experience in treasury, cash management, and broker-dealer operations. After a wealth of experience, I started exploring possible career changes.

My journey to become a Software Engineer began by taking online courses via websites like Coursera, Udemy, and Codecademy to gain an understanding of different languages and tools. Over the course of a year, I completed courses in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, and Python to name a few. My excitement of a possible career change to software engineering continued to grow. After seeing my interests aligned with backend development, I took the leap and enrolled in a rigorous Backend Development course with BloomTech .

  • 🌱 I am backend developer with experience in Java, IntelliJ, AWS and Spring Framework. I also know a bit of frontend with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
