It’s also completely community-run! But otherwise, yeah, pretty much.
Project Blurple is an annual, week-long community event which celebrates Discord’s anniversary. Rather a handful of events happen as part of Project Blurple, but one that’s relevant to us here is Blurple Canvas!
The gist is that people come together to create pixel art on a shared canvas. However, you can only place a pixel every 30 seconds, which encourages some community collaboration. Historically, this has only been possible to do in a server which participates in Project Blurple, using the Blurple Canvas Discord bot.
No longer! Blurple Canvas Web brings the canvas to, well, the web! It live updates and everything! (Just don’t go ham on our database server pleaseandthankyou.)
