A request to the ege-webservice endpoint gives you a message:

This is the EGE RESTful Web Service

But a RESTful interface would tell you how you can navigate the API from there. That's pretty much the definition of RESTful. We should either remedy this or stop advertising it as RESTful.

AFAIK, there's the two entry points …/ege-webservice/Validation/ and …/ege-webservice/Conversions/. Would it be enough to send a wrapper XML with links to these two resources when accessing the root …/ege-webservice/?
