Restore Settings File

Creating a settings file for your environment may take hours or days or tweaking and adjusting settings and values to make sure everything is as it should be. If you loose or delete your settings file, all this work is not lost, you can retrieve it again as long as you still have the compiled QA script that it generated.

Steps

1. Open the QA Settings Configuration Tool and click the Restore Settings File button found at the bottom left of the first screen.

2. Read the message that appears and click OK.

3. Find and select the compiled QA script that as generated.

4. After a few seconds a new settings file will be created called restored.ini and placed in the same folder as the QA script that you selected above.

5. In-order to use this settings file, move it into the Settings folder.
