We are a group of Mozillians who love to code for open source projects and work for Mozilla.
As we are part of Mozilla Kerala, we are ready to take up any project that the community assign us to do. As Mozillians, we will be contributing to Mozilla products and its related apps. We will be committed to any open source projects that need help or interest from the team members.
We are on the mission to increase code contribution to Mozilla and Open Source Software.
We help coders in Kerala to contribute more to open source and build a collaborative team of doers.
Our ultimate goal is contribute to Mozilla Products, Mozilla Kerala and other open source projects. To reach this goal, we have to achieve many internal goals that will help us to collaborate with each other with the best team chemistry.
Sub Goals
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for the working of the team and thus achieve a structure inside the team.
- Concentrate on technologies that majority are skilled in.
- Sort the right person for the right job.
- Conduct an online one hour meeting every weekend.
- State problems faced by members & resolve it.
- Assign new tasks to teams.
- Document the meeting.
- Schedule next meeting.
- Find small open source projects to contribute at beginning.
- Finish team documentation before the 15th of January 2016.
- Create a project pool and start with the most voted project from the pool.
- Complete the first project before July 2016 end and evaluate team performance.
- Reform team with necessary changes after analysis.
- Take next project and finish it by next New Year.
- Analyze team progress by evaluating previous projects.
- Expand team if expected level of collaboration is achieved.
