ClassClock Roadmap
These are the words that are used on the Task Tracker to describe the priority of different tasks
The next step for ClassClock is to finish transitioning the app to React and add enough admin panel/database/API stuff to allow a school to maintain their own schedules. The goal is to have this done before Mid-August so that it can be used in the 2019/2020 school year.
After the essentials to make it work are done, the next priority is any other changes needed to allow multiple schools to use ClassClock (such as a "welcome" screen and "select/search for your school" screen) as well as cosmetic changes (potentially a logo/ui refresh) and other things to help ClassClock grow easily (unit tests, potentially an ed-fi data import tool)
Features designated "later" are dependent on whether there is enough interest from schools to justify making classclock a commercial product and include things that are necessary for a commercial release such as:
- legal compliance stuff (privacy policy, accessibility)
- security levels for schools
- FAQ/documentation/support options on website
- "undo" changes to schedule
- integration with systems that actually makes the bells ring
...etc
