Some years ago I worked on a small script to print random characters as part of an infinite monkey theorem generator. While random characters did produce some curious combinations I thought it would be fun to give the monkey a dictionary and increase the chances of a readable text. I'm not sure if I'll expand on this one or not, but it was a fun exercise in something Bash related. Maybe the next iteration should give the monkey some CUDA cores.
Simply put from Wikipedia
The theorem can be generalized to state that any sequence of events which has a non-zero probability of happening, at least as long as it hasn't occurred, will almost certainly eventually occur.
Clone the repository, make the monkey.sh
file executable and run it at the prompt. It will print random wor[k|d]s at the prompt.
