before i get on to putting my ideas down, i want to apologize for making 5 issues with ideas on this github,. I feel like i may have put too many ideas out when things are just getting cleaned up in the plugin. this will hopefully be my last slew of ideas for a while if im being too flooding with my ideas, if not, who knows
(a owner for a server i staff even noticed i have like 5 issues here lol)
anyways heres some ideas for shield modifiers i came up with after seeing the recent issue
knock back: (my take on this from the issue)
knocks back arrow at attackers (22.2% chance too per knock back level) and knocks back enemy's who physically hit the shield (only knocks back half the distance of regular main hand knock back
turtle:
using your shield gives Resistance and slowness
vigilant:
having a shield in your off hand gives you a small amount of armor and armor toughness
daunt:
if a enemy hits your shield physically, the next melee attack you do on that enemy will deal more damage
blast protection/plating:
using your shield will make you take much reduced damage from explosions
leaden:
holding your shield in your off hand increases your knock-back resistance
complementary:
gives a small damage boost (make it so when your only holding a weapon?)
unarmed vanguard:
only having a shield equipped in your off hand and having no weapon equipped gives you a attack damage boost
unarmored vanguard:
having no Armour equipped will give you a armor and armor toughness boost
vital shield:
gives a few hearts of absorption when you use your shield, getting the hearts damaged will activate a 10 second cool down until you can use vital shield again
light guardian:
while using your shield in daylight you get a small regen boost
odd idea:
(maybe make shield viable main hand weapon like a frying pan or battle sign from tinkers used for dealing moderate damage and keeping enemy's at bay??)
