This module was created for the YourShore project, based in Sydney, Australia. The module has been designed to collect wide-ranging data about the existing remnant shellfish reefs in Australia. The app has been specifically designed to engage the public with their local environment, allowing non-specialists users to record basic information about the types of habitat and existing shellfish aggregations found at their local shorelines.
This module was co-developed by Elisa Bone at Ashore Consulting, Sydney and Adela Sobotkova and Petra Janouchova at the FAIMS Project, Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University.
Development of this module was funded by the Research Attraction and Acceleration Program (RAAP) NSW Department of Industry 16805/00 aimed to support innovation and investment in the New South Wales in 2016 and 2017.
