Hello, I'm Genglin Yu! 👋

I'm a passionate fullstack Software Developer and a army veteran who loves working on new coding projects and learning new technologies. This is my GitHub repository where I share my code, projects, and contributions to the open-source community.

I'm a fullstack Software Developer and completed bachelor's degree in computer science. I've great knowledge in the core concepts in many programming languages including c++, java, javascript, and python. I'm enthusiastic about designing, drawing, and utlizing my skills to create a big project. I believe in the power of technology to make the world a better place, and I'm committed to contributing to that goal.

Here are some of the projects I'm proud of:

• Description: This is a full stack application that displays a gallery of anime that aired in April 2023. The front end is built using Bootstrap and React, while the back end is built with Express. The data is fetched from a database and dynamically present the changes on the webpage.

• Technologies Used:

• Description: The purpose of this project was to take an existing application, then meet with a client to discuss new features and expectations for the final product. The application initially consisted of a managers login page which allowed the career services manager to view the status of their student's job search process with the ability to filter based on their status. My team was resposible for adding additional features consisting of a student login, a student view page, a registration for new students, secured authuntication, testing, and graphic optimization.

• Technologies Used:

• Description: Laundry Attendant is a Java-based application developed for the CMSC 495 final project. This application allows users to manage their laundry services efficiently. Users can access their accounts, register new ones, and purchase laundry tickets, which are displayed on the user dashboard. The purchased tickets are sent to the server and the admin's dashboard for processing.

I'm currently studying nextJS, threeJS.I'm also finishing my anime art class which would also be dec 2023. I'm planning to start working on few new javascript project to deepen my understanding and also applies new techs in the future.

I'm very passionated in gaming, anime, and tech industry. Therefore, my dream is to build a well known game. In order to reach that goal, I will try my hardest to learn new things about programming. These are the resolutions I want to complete this year.

• Finishing bachelor's degree in CS
• Hired as a software Developer
• Gain a core understanding about typescript, threejs, nextjs, and deploy a fullstack react application through cloud service.
• Finishing my end project from my art class.
• Reinforce the knowledges on java, c++, python by creating a medium sized project, deploy it to the github.
