Retro BIOS Tool

The Retro BIOS Tool is a simple tool to copy BIOS files to the appropriate spot for Kodi game.libretro addons

Installation

Install Retro BIOS Tool in one of these ways:

  • Download the repository zipfile from here to install the addon and get automatic updates.

or

  • Download the latest version zipfile from here to install by zipfile.

Use

Note: You need to be connected to the internet in order for the tool to pull BIOS information.

  1. Open the addon settings, set the folder the addon should search and copy BIOS files from. You can also toggle the report page on and off in the addon settings.

  1. Run the addon. It will search the selected folder for BIOS files to copy to the approprate game.libretro addon folders within Kodi.

  1. Review the report. This will show you which BIOS files are present (in green) for game addons and which are missing (in red).
