Thank you for the quick reply! I would really like to solve the problem as it is quite annoying.
I have this issue with every single pinned channel, don't really know what causes it. Now that I think about it more, I'm not even sure it started right after an update and not just randomly at some point.
Do you think a reinstall action could solve the issue? I'm hesitant to do so because of all the customizations I have made in the app.
In the attachment I have captured the exact scenario, just so we are on the same page.
There is a backup and restore feature in Settings. I use it anytime I reinstall the application. It works great.
I created SmartTube Manager to make it easier to uninstall and reinstall various versions of SmartTube beta.
I would say reinstalling it is worth a try, but it seems unlikely to help. It would be slightly more likely if you don't restore your settings. Though you could not restore the settings, see if it helps, and then restore when you are done testing.
Another idea would be to install both the stable and beta versions of SmartTube. They can be installed in parallel. Then you can use one version, and test with the other.
Note, I am am just another user, not one of the developers.
You have good taste. I watch many of the same YouTube channels.
