The spec-prod feature to push to gh-pages fails if that branch is protected, even when W3CGruntbot is given access to that branch. This can be seen on line 537 of a build attempt. Disabling branch protection allows it to succeed, but should not be necessary as it could result in unplanned changes to the editors' draft.
