Close VSelect programmatically

Hey everyone,

A VSelect will close their popup menu automatically if an item is selected.

However ... I have added a text input and a confirm button with the #append-item slot that allows users to propose a new item. It would be a nice touch if the select popup would close after the confirm button was clicked.

I tried it by setting a ref on the v-select and then execute selectRef.value.$el.blur() but it did not work.

Any ideas if/how this can be achieved?

Okay, right after I wrote this I found another issue where Kael mentions v-model:menu, which is exactly what I was looking for 🥳: #16860 (comment)

The docs just mention the menu prop which doesn't imply that this is a v-model that can be written as well.
