Well, the question is, should we just store the peaks in the h5 file (which they are)? Then we only need the h5 file as output, which I actually like better than a directory. Then we can add an option to the ananse view command to extract the peaks from the h5 file.
One output file, and ananse view binding.h5 returns and overview of the contents (without spewing all out in one go).
Then a sub command to get the output of a given file.
