"Focused" theme

Another idea for a visual refresh - this is a screen shot taken from a hack day project I worked on to teach people about accessibility best practices. Perhaps we could have something like this for Obo Next. I'm not suggesting we follow this design to a T, but maybe take some cues from it.

Goals:

• Style is less book-like and more interactive-webpage like - could reduce a stifling library feeling
• Interactive components are clearly identified and made enticing ("Try It!"). Obo wouldn't necessarily have interactive components like this (hopefully one day), but questions could be made to be similarly enticing.
• Next button made more obvious (This design needs a previous page button)
• Sense of progression made clear (Progress bar at the upper right). That progress bar could reduce the need of the navigation (Thinking hide the nav by default, but still provide a way to pull it up - not shown in this mockup)
