Thanks for your question. At present, no there is no way to do this. However I have raised a couple of issues, one to add a mechanism to disable autocomplete, and one to look into the focus/rendering issues you are seeing. We will try to get these into a release in the near future. A workaround for now would be connect to the Steampipe service using another SQL client - PGCLI works well. Cheers, |

As of v0.17.0 you can disable autocomplete in the Steampipe REPL. In the interactive console:

Is there a way to disable autocomplete in the interactive query mode? For some reason with Ubuntu Linux 20.04.4 LTS for WSL, autocomplete is very aggressive. The windows doesn't pop-up below the current line/prompt, and otherwise does strange things to the focus. It's basically intolerable. Now, it doesn't do this in my Mac terminal, but I need to use my work PC for my work-account-related stuff.
