Currently the default sex_ratio in population metadata (used for WF models with separate sexes) is 0.0. This was the source of some confusion on the SLiM email list. This seems wrong; however, IIRC I made this choice because in models without separate sexes that's what the sex ratio is. @bhaller, do you know if it's safe to just set the value to 0.5 (i.e., in a nonWF model, or in a WF model without separate sexes, will having a non-zero value do anything bad)?

Don't know, but can check at some point. :-> (EDIT: sounds like you will check, from Slack chat, which is good – very busy now with Querétaro workshop prep and stuff, driving down in ~3 hours!)
