SDK v 2.0 isn't supported #25
Comments
Thank you @nahuagawa for your feedback. |
Thanks for the quick response! Me. my gaming group and some other people are looking forward for the update! |
@nahuagawa i have released a new version 0.6.0 which uses Miro web SDK v2. Note in v2 SDK you cannot get username anymore (only user id). It affects nickname displayed in roll results. I will monitor Miro SDK and update code when current username available again. Can you test new version and tell me if it works for you ? |
Hey! Thanks a lot, appreciate such a fast fix. Is this change backward compatible? I mean, if I will update the app and will stay on older SDK version - will the app work? |
@nahuagawa no the new version is not backward compatible. During my tests, the previous SDK v1 was not working anymore, so i dropped it. (the bottom bar has been removed from all my boards) |
Got it, thanks for clarification! |
I have posted the issue on Miro forum, maybe i will get some solution to display user name with roll result. |
Hi! |
That's strange, i can still use it on my board : Please double check you are using the lastest version (0.6+). The installation documentation was also updated. |
Hi! You were right, the problem was in the app installment. Sorry for disturbing you. Anyway, thanks for the response, and thanks for such a great tool for my games, |
Hi!
Looks like Miro recently updated their SDK to version 2.0. And all new dice.io connections are not working (though it's working on my legacy SDK 1.0, but will be migrated automatically).
So, any plan to support the new version?
