Breakdown of deaths / confirmed cases #19
Comments
Hi Tom I found this after seeing on tele there more graph data, and icnarc is annoying I would not bother looking their, I searched with 'patients critically ill' as part of the google. My sister is ill with covid19, just dropped off some liquid meals to her, so far she has not had to go to hospital but I think I would feel awkward mapping deaths I'll have to think about it. Probably if you watch bbc news on iplayer you can pick up some other search terms to find other data from the graphs. source:Do you want a pull request I copied from numbers and got textmate to swapped tabs for commas but maybe you have better format in mind, I have not modified the data. In theory I can process this into map, but not checked integrity. I could look to add lat long but would need to collate some postcode data first. total deaths by trust
total deaths by region
total deaths by age

So PHE now report a breakdown of cases by age for england. Its difficult to get hold of though. You need to get the big json file their webpage uses. which is found here: https://c19downloads.azureedge.net/downloads/data/data_latest.json Within this there is a couple of paths tmp.countries.E92000001.maleCases I can;t find a timeseries though. |
Are you aware of a dataset that breaks down deaths (and confirmations) by age, gender, pre-existing health conditions, ethnicity, etc?
