I am interested in your thoughts on how easy/reasonable it would be to extend argos for our needs which would be:
inspecting data stored in a particular layout in hdf files
easily choosing certain data from within an hdf file according to its rating (that is contained in the metadata)
starting processing scripts running on selected data
visualising the processed data that again resides in an hdf file in 3D and with several filters
For example, displaying the user ratings could be achieved by copying the hdf classes, register them as a new "plugin" and alter the quick look method to display them. The 3D visualisation would be another pyqtgraph widget etc.
Am I imagining it too simple?
Would it be easy to add additional GUI elements, like another quick view or tabs for the inspector?
