docker attach gmodserver and docker logs -f gmodserver never show any logs from the gmod server. Therefore users cannot execute commands through the server console.

Use -it flag when launching the container. You will then able to see actual server logs, however you won't be able to execute any commands.

Unfortunately your suggestion doesn't accomplish the desired effect on my maschine.

What is your desired effect? I have tested this and it does show the console, you just can't execute commands and such.

All docker-entrypoint.sh files will be executed through /bin/sh -c
