A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in #1602
Comments
Alright I've uninstalled the KB5043145 update and it seems to work now. That's definitely the cause of the problem. I'm still having issues about Onemore erroring out telling me to select content though, even if it is selected. And not only for snippets now that I'm doing tests. |
For the continued content selection errors, do you normally run more than one open OneNote window? |
Sometimes yeah, but it makes no difference. Tried to save a snippet after a clean reboot of the system and just one Onenote window open: still the same error. |
I just updated to 6.5.2 and am running Windows 10. I don't have issues with OneMore loading but I'm also experiencing the Snippets issue: When I try to save a snippet, I get a pop-up error to select the content for the snippet even though it's already selected. Here's my log:

I am very sorry for bothering again, I was the one with the #1601 I am not that good in computer, so can anyone help me understand, what I should do to make it work? |
Uninstall the update KB5043145. Here's a guide. |
Thanks for that guide. I tried my very best but was not able to find the update KB5043145 in my update history. |
Problem to Solve
Just updated OneMore to the latest version (6.5.2), but it won't load. OneNote reports a runtime error. See screenshot.
I then tried to reinstall my old version (5.9.0) but same thing happens.
I've tried to install another plugin: Onetastic, it installs and works without issues.
I wanted to update because OneMore was starting to act strangely all of the sudden. When trying to save a new snippet, it kept popping up an error message telling to select something to save, even though items were selected.
Already tried to reboot my PC of course.
To Reproduce
Install OneMore under the KB5043145 update for Windows 11
