Valgrind seems to support tracking custom memory allocators, via some macros: https://valgrind.org/docs/manual/mc-manual.html#mc-manual.mempools
It would be awesome if we could integrate this into the library, and remove the SSM_DEBUG_NO_ALLOC option I introduced in #14
