Hello, fellow human. I'm Anthony (he/him, Australian), living in Adelaide, Australia with my wife Murti (she/her, Indonesian) and our daughter, Yasmin (to give an insight into my programming ethos/skill/knowledge, I'll tell you the immutable fact that Yasmin was born in 2016 rather than the mutable fact of her current age :) ).

My professional life has revolved around software development and research for distributed simulations, particularly High Level Architecture based. Privately, I'm increasingly interested in the Rust programming language and a lot of what appears in my repos is the intersection of this Rust learning and tooling for HLA based simulations.

Another thing I do on a part-time basis is proofreading and editing of research papers and theses. Most of the time I get these papers at their final draft stage, usually as a Word or PDF document. I'm interested in exploring how to use, and educating writers to use, text-based document creation (Markdown, asciidoc, ...) and configuration management (git, GitHub, ...) tools to have a more continuous proofreading and editing experience.

Why am I seeking sponsorship? One thing: trying to make life better for my family. In the short term that means adding a few extra dollarbucks to my income to fund home improvements, school, and family activities. In the longer term, replacing my usual source of funds to enable more time and presence with my family.
