WebbPSF Logging vs Verbose

I tried to setup the logging following:

Somewhat annoyingly, even though I asked this to only report ERROR statements, the configuration itself printed text to the terminal.

Separately, the statements I was trying to quash were actually controlled by the verbose parameter passed to psf_grid. Shouldn't there be a single way to control all of this? A unified logging mechanism would be helpful.
