It seems signald is no longer maintained, and auxin is a cleaner solution anyway.

Telegram

Telethon sucks for long-term stability due to using the mtproto API. We should be able to get by using the more stable bot api using botapi-rs.

Development will be frozen until this issue is resolved. As such I have archived the repository.
