Using shelr.tv to play json files from different locaction

Somehow publishing fails for my file:
shelr/shelr#24

So I thought:
Why not just put my file somewhere, e.g. gdrive, dropbox, github, bitbucket, ...
and then on shelr.tv just play that file.
In the source of the website I see it loading /records/$myfile$.json
So it should not be that hard to replace this with an url location. Is it?

A stand alone app would be far better ;-)
