I'm writing a tool that converts XML data exported from Pixel 2 to data that can be imported in Pixel 9.

For this reason, I'd need as many details as possible.

In particular, in this doc I read

Content block (Title)

Is this the content block type?
If so:

  1. why we have (Title) in its title?
  2. I have a pixel_fancy_title_left_aligned template that's not listed in the doc

Also, in the doc there's no mention for these templates of the old custom templates:

  • Whate CTA (renamed to Pixel CTA):
    • pixel_top_bar_link
    • pixel_top_bar_link_color
    • pixel_top_bar_link_label
  • Whale Manual Nav (renamed to Pixel Manual Nav):
    • pixel_main_menu
    • pixel_submenu
    • pixel_tree

Hi Michele,

Thank you for creating this awesome tool.

Regarding your questions:
1- On the Block menu, the wording inside the parenthesis indicates the template name. On this case, similar to Pixel 2, editors can create page-tile-like texts with both Content block and Page Title block.

2- pixel_fancy_title_left_aligned template falls under pixel_image_feature_box, and like many other blocks can be customised with classes.

3- Some of the templates you mentioned have not yet been made in Pixel 9.

Some of the templates you mentioned have not yet been made in Pixel 9.

For the time being I've marked them as "deprecated" (example), which means that the custom block template is removed from the converted xml.
